Week One

My daily project had been inspired by New York photographer and attorney, Woody Campbell. With over 3500 consecutive days of mostly excellent shots, I thought why not me.

I made it to day 229 or so when the Seattle winter conspired against my creativity and crushed my motivation.

But one spark remained. I watched as Richie Roesch took on a daily challenge. His weekly photo roundups were mostly stellar. He too suffered from some winter doldrums, but unlike me he powered through and is approaching week 52. An admirable and inspiring accomplishment; One I hope to repeat.

The first week’s photos all come from my iPhone. Two are rather pedestrian photos of meals; something I’d rather avoid (although Stephen Shore does sometimes pull it off).
