Yakima River | Kodak Tri-X 400 | Canon AE-1 Program

The old highway between Cle Elum and Ellensburg, Washington, offers many opportunities to take pictures. Trains, rolling hills, curves, basalt and always changing seasonal colors make this long-cut a reason to leave the Interstate.

Here’s a few shots-some of my first after returning to film.

Kodak Tri-X 400

I have two film cameras. A Cannon AE-1 Program and a Rollei 35 S. I don’t use either enough. Maybe it’s the cost of film and developing. Maybe it’s the always present iPhone or the versatile and capable Fuji x100f.

I’ll try to remedy this lack of use and rededicate myself to the analogue ways of the past.

I just received a roll of Tri-X 400. All shot on my Rollei 35 S.

I would love links and recommendations for blogs for either the film or the camera. Post them in the comments.

Here’s a few photos.
