Sun this week. Warm? Warmer maybe. But the turning of the clocks back has pushed us into the darkness. This is where the drive to shoot starts to wane. Fall colors are still about, just not as abundant. Soon the rains will come.
Monday, I was downtown and shot the Smith Tower from the base. The iconic landmark has been photographed thousands of times. I don’t recall seeing one from this angle.
The balance of the shots took advantage of Seattle’s sublime August light. With wildfire smoke the last two years marring our skyline and choking our lungs, this year has been a nice and welcome surprise.
